Important licensing and compliance notifications can be missed when Department emails go unread or the appropriate staff do not have access to the licensing portal.
The Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS), Bureau of Licensing for Professions & Occupations (BLPO), is reminding licensees to regularly monitor Department communications and ensure proper delegated portal access is established.
Take a few minutes to review your internal process:
- Regularly check for emails from the Department, including messages routed to spam or junk folders.
- Confirm that the appropriate individuals have delegated portal access.
- Make sure your team knows who is responsible for reviewing and responding to Department notifications.
- Review access when staff roles change so important communications continue to reach the right people.
A clear process can help your establishment stay informed and respond promptly to licensing and inspection matters.
AFCCA is sharing this reminder to support timely communication between licensees and the Department.
