Calling All Future Leaders of Arizona!

The AFCCA, along with NFDA, has a long history of cultivating new leaders in the Funeral Profession. We encourage continuing education, personal growth and leadership development among all of our members.

In July is NFDA’s 2018 NFDA Leadership Conference at The Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC.

Leadership development continues to be critical at both the state and national levels and we all recognize the importance of developing future leaders who will continue to strengthen our profession  and keep us moving in a positive direction. Encouraging funeral directors to become involved in their profession is imperative, and the information sharing that takes place at the NFDA Leadership Conference is a perfect example of how funeral service leaders can come together to make a difference for members of their respective associations.

For example, we have heard, it can be difficult for funeral directors to guide families about how and when to include children in the funeral and memorialization process. This year, an expert panel will provide critical information about the importance of including children in the process and discuss resources available to help you broach the subject about the importance of including children with the families you serve. We’ll also enjoy a special presentation by Mark J. Lindquist, Air Force Sergeant and Afghanistan war veteran-turned Actor and Motivational Speaker, who will empower us to reignite our passion.

Please visit nfda.org/leadership for additional information about the event.

That all being said, we are so excited to announce that we are able to offer one complimentary registration (a $475 value) for the NFDA Leadership Conference July 8-11, 2018!
